Study Group

Study Group

International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Chapters may offer, Certification of Competency in Business AnalysisTM (CCBA®), Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®)/Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK®) study groups. Chapters are free to develop their own study groups and are encouraged to share study group processes, best practices, and success stories; no standard will be set or required across chapters.

Study groups can help with your understanding by leveraging everyone's experience to provide context. This will ensure a more thorough understanding, rather than trying to memorise information.

Study Group Leader FAQ

Q: Must you have passed the CBAP exam before you can lead a study group?
A: Absolutely not.
Q: Do you need experience in leading study groups?
A: No -- there are several people in our Chapter who have led study groups in the past who would be happy to give you the benefit of their experience, not to mention the abundance of information on the Internet on how to run a study group.
