Key Role Mapping – A Way to ID Who’s Who for Your Implementation

BA’s help a business client translate what needs to be done to succeed when implementing a new system, process and/or organizational structure.  It can really help to partner with the key stakeholders to determine the impacted groups, and which ones are a priority to work with to ensure success.  The Key Role Mapping activity developed by Implementation Management Associates© is one way to accomplish this.

Key Role Mapping© is easy to explain and do.  It can be conducted in a very interactive, low-tech manner, and the participants will generate some very useful ideas in discussion the map they’re building.  During this session, you’ll learn about the four roles that can be used to describe the people/roles involved with your implementation, determine whether they are positioned to play that role, and if not consider actions to take to close that gap.
