A practical discussion of some of the more technical Tools and Techniques that Business Analysts are finding themselves being asked to perform in order to satisfy current-day employer demands. Speaker Biography: David Berry began his career 12 years ago as a Credit Analyst and Loan Officer for a Commercial lending organization focusing on Agricultural finance, serving Long Island, NY. After two years of service he expressed an interest in information technology and began contracting as a Quality Assurance Analyst for the organization’s technology provider, based in Agawam, MA, as part of a collaborative initiative between the two companies to improve the quality of credit delivery system software. The idea was to have end users of the software embedded among the creators offering immediate feedback on business functionality designs. The initiative proved successful and he was hired 18 months later as a full-time employee by the technology provider working as a Business Systems Analyst. David continues that work today focusing on bridging communication gaps between business stakeholders and tech stakeholders.
